Baked Bagels
- (also
known as Brown and Serve Bagels)
A&S makes par-baked bagels
(also known as brown and serve bagels).
Our par-baked bagels are partially baked bagels. All
you have to do is finish the baking for a a few minutes in
your oven. With par-baked bagels, your customers can
get great tasting hot bagels, while you save on labor and
resources.
Recently, the baking industry has demanded par-baked
products baked 80%-90% of the way through.
Historically, par-baked products were not baked off in this
manner. Whichever way you want it, A&S Bagels can
make it. If you need a par-baked bagel product baked
80%-90% of the way through, we can do it for you. If
you prefer a par-baked bagel product baked baked less then
that, we can accommodate you.
The following baking techniques are intended for
professional bakers. Please keep in mind that in
order to avoid any physical injury to yourself, remember to
always pay attention and be careful when boiling and baking
bagels. The oven used to bake the bagels are hot,
therefore, take the necessary precautions to avoid injury
and burns.
